Soul Plans

Preparing for Your Soul Plan Consultation

1. What is a Soul Plan?

A Soul Plan (aka a Soul Blueprint or Life Chart) is a spiritual roadmap that we each design for ourselves before we are born. We choose our parents, any siblings—even our birth order. We also elect broader ‘building blocks’ such as our country, culture, socio-economic group and the presence of absence of a faith. Our Plans include our entry points (the family and circumstances into which we’re born) and the exit points, Soul Contracts and Life Themes (e.g. self-worth, courage, leadership, forgiveness), which are the areas we wish to work on once we arrive.

2. Why consider Soul Planning? What’s the benefit?

Have you ever felt that life ‘has it in’ for you? That you can’t catch a break?

Do you feel caught in a pattern of relationships or other outcomes?

Do you fear death, or have questions about a loved one on the Other Side?

A Soul Plan consultation helps identify your Life Themes—and these powerful insights can shift us from the ‘victim’ to ‘designer’ of our lives. One role is reactive and diminishing; the other is proactive and expansive.

Clients share that they gain clarity around their Life Themes and Soul Contracts, and in turn, they see more purpose to their life’s key events and relationships. Also, rather than feeling like a leaf drifting in the wind, they see the intricate plan designed just for them—by them.

They are less likely to be ‘blindsided’ as developments unfold. They appreciate the bigger picture and how events and relationships dovetail together. They recognise the layered connection between each of us, and how a given dynamic can help both parties grow. They are better able to move toward forgiveness, or to release past disappointments.

3. Are you saying everything in life is pre-determined?

Great question! And… no.

Our Soul Plans represent the framework of major circumstances and themes we have designed. Before we choose to arrive here, we pass through the ‘veil’ between the spiritual and physical realms (if you’ve ever received a sign from a loved one who has passed over, they pierced the veil momentarily to send you a message of love, comfort or hope).

Once we arrive here, we no longer remember our Soul Plan; we are spiritual beings having a human experience. We have passed through “the veil” between the spiritual and physical worlds. We retain free-will to uncover and embrace our Life Themes, or to pivot in a different direction.

Consider your current partner (or one from your past). Your Soul Plan suggests that you designed to have this person in your life, but you (both) still had free-will. You could have chosen to meet, then experience a breezy summer fling, a short-but-intense romance, or a deeper connection on which to build lives together. And within that relationship, you each have free-will as to how you behave.

4. I was raised in the ___ religion and taught that only God decides our lives. Where do Soul-Plans fit in?

Offered respectfully: During Alicia’s out-of-body experience (OBE) she observed that we design our Soul Plans in loving collaboration with the Universe, and whether you reference Jesus, Buddha, or another deity.

In thousands of documented cases, people who have had near-death experiences (NDEs) report that when they briefly crossed over, they did so in the presence of their angels, guides and often, with a particular deity if they followed a faith while they were here. The atmosphere is infused with love and nonjudgement.

5. Does the session involve a psychic reading?

No (said with a smile), but Soul Planning also comes under the umbrella of metaphysical subjects. We take time to consider who and what has helped shape the person you are today. We pay attention to the feelings you have around those elements, because feelings are the language of the soul. You are listened to with compassion and nonjudgment.

We will collaborate to discern insights to myriad possibilities around your Soul’s blueprint. Alicia will help you explore patterns for Life Themes and Soul Contracts (agreements we make with others to spark lessons we have chosen). These can surface quite clearly or appear to be more nuanced.

6. Do I need to bring anything with me?

An open heart and mind is a wonderful start! Bring questions (and let’s agree: There are no silly questions)!

Soul Planning is best considered from your heartspace, and you will know what resonates for you. It is not necessary to fully adopt every last tenet of Soul Planning to benefit from it. Often, it’s enough to consider the “what ifs” around major areas in your life.

You’re welcome to tape the audio for personal use. Please do not broadcast it, in part or in whole, including on social media.

7. What are Alicia’s credentials to discuss Soul Plans?

Alicia has informally studied metaphysical issues for thirty years, and as journalist, she relishes research from the anecdotal to the academic (she also met her guardian angel at age three). She would later come to realise that these decades of books, seminars and spiritual encounters were helping prepare her for a life-changing event. Alicia had a transformative out-of-body experience (OBE), in which she met the soul of a little boy on the Other Side. Her book, Visit from Heaven is endorsed by leading metaphysical authors such as Dr. Raymond Moody and Robert Schwartz. Alicia has also consulted for some of these names on projects. Alicia is also a columnist for Dr. Moody’s site, Life After Life. See a selection at: https://lifeafterlife.com/blog/author/aliciayoung/

8. Do I need to read Alicia’s Visit from Heaven first?

Not at all. But reading, or even browsing, will spark more questions, and ensures you will get the most out of your session.

**Thank you for understanding that a Soul Plan session does not seek to diagnose, treat, or cure any illness or condition.**
